Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated 25 September 2026
This policy explains how to cancel a Syncroze subscription, when a cancellation takes effect, and in which circumstances we refund a payment. It applies to every subscription to the Syncroze platform purchased through www.syncroze.com and forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. The short version
- You can cancel at any time — there is no minimum term, no notice period and no cancellation fee.
- Cancelling stops all future charges. You keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
- Payments already made are non-refundable, and we do not give pro-rata refunds for unused time.
- We do refund billing mistakes: duplicate charges, charges taken after a valid cancellation, and payments for a service we could not make available to you.
2. How to cancel
You can cancel in either of these ways:
- from your account's billing settings, using the cancel option on your subscription; or
- by emailing support@syncroze.com from the email address registered to the account, telling us which subscription you want to cancel.
We confirm every cancellation by email. If you do not receive that confirmation within two business days, please contact us — an unconfirmed request is not a cancellation, and we would rather hear from you twice than let a renewal go through.
3. When cancellation takes effect
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your subscription is not renewed, no further payment is taken, and you keep full access to the Service until that period ends — so cancelling a monthly plan on day 3 still leaves you the remaining days of that month.
To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel before your renewal date. Your renewal date is shown in your billing settings and on your invoices. A cancellation received after a renewal has been charged applies to the following period; it does not reverse the renewal that has already been taken.
When the subscription ends, running syncs stop. You may ask us to export your data within 30 days of that date, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Refunds
Subscription payments are non-refundable once processed. Because you keep access for the whole period you paid for, we do not refund or credit unused time — including partial months or years, periods during which you chose not to use the Service, and the remainder of an annual plan cancelled part-way through.
Setup, onboarding, migration and any other one-off or professional services fees are non-refundable once the work has begun.
5. When we do refund
We refund a payment in full where:
- you were charged twice for the same period, or charged an incorrect amount because of an error on our side;
- you were charged after a cancellation had validly taken effect;
- we were unable to make the paid Service available to you at all during the period charged, and could not resolve it; or
- a refund is required by law in your jurisdiction and that right cannot be excluded by agreement — this policy does not limit your statutory rights.
Where a prolonged outage on our side has significantly degraded the Service, we may also offer a service credit or a partial refund at our discretion. We assess these case by case.
6. How to request a refund, and how long it takes
Email support@syncroze.com from the address registered to the account, with the invoice number or the date and amount of the charge and a short explanation. Please send the request within 30 days of the charge so we can investigate it properly.
We acknowledge refund requests within two business days and decide them within seven business days, telling you the outcome and our reasons. Approved refunds are issued through our payment processor, Stripe, to the original payment method — we cannot refund to a different card, account or method. Once we issue a refund it usually appears on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Refunds are made in the currency you were charged in; we cannot compensate for exchange-rate movements or for bank charges applied at your end.
7. Failed payments and suspension
If a renewal payment fails, we will retry it and email you so you can update your payment method. If the payment remains unpaid, we may suspend and then cancel the subscription. A suspension caused by non-payment is not a refundable outage.
8. Trials and pilots
Where we offer a free trial or pilot, it is free for its stated duration and you can cancel before it ends at no cost. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and the first payment is taken, after which this policy applies to that payment in the normal way. We will remind you by email before a trial converts.
9. Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first — it is almost always faster than raising a dispute with your bank, and we will investigate immediately. Where a chargeback is raised, we may suspend the account while the dispute is resolved and will supply our records to the payment processor.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published at www.syncroze.com/cancellation-refund-policy, with the date it last changed shown at the top. The version in force when you were charged is the one that applies to that payment.
11. Contact us
For anything to do with a cancellation, a charge or a refund, email support@syncroze.com or use our contact form.
